Cleaning the world's water

Northwestern's Will Dichtel has developed a novel way to purify water using a polymer to remove chemicals. His company, CycloPure, has the potential to affordably remove micropollutents from drinking water around the globe.

Nichole Pinkard, a School of Education and Social Policy graduate, created literacy programs that connect learning in and out of the classroom. Partnerships with the city of Chicago have helped hundreds of the city's youth.
