What should I include in my science GPA?
AMCAS
Application service for those applying to all allopathic (MD) schools (excluding Texas medical schools who use TMDSAS).
Science (BCPM) GPA should include all grades from biology, chemistry, physics, and math courses (including statistics). In the event of a repeated course, both grades should be factored into the science GPA. Courses in the science GPA should be classified based on the content of the course, in accordance with the AMCAS Course Classification Guide.
TMDSAS
Application service for those applying to specific medical, dental, and veterinary schools in Texas. A list of schools that utilizes TMDSAS.

Courses in the science GPA should be classified based on the content of the course, in accordance with the TMDSAS prescribed coursework definitions.
AACOMAS
Application service for those applying to osteopathic (DO) programs.
Science GPA should include all grades from biology, chemistry, and physics courses. In the event of a repeated course, both grades should be factored into the science GPA (*This is a change from the previous policy, starting with the 2018 cycle*). Courses in the science GPA should be classified primarily based on the course prefix/title listed on your transcript, in accordance with the AACOMAS Course Subject Guide.
