Gender Inclusive Initiatives

Gender Inclusive Initiatives at Northwestern are a campus-wide effort led by the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI), the Women’s Center, the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program and Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) to increase access to resources and support for our gender diverse students, faculty, and  staff.  These action leaders and unit/department led inclusive initiatives are in direct response to the decades of advocacy, leadership and research of trans, non-binary and queer members of our campus community and are guided by the recommendations made by the 2018-2019 Gender Queer, Non Binary and Transgender Task Force.  This webpage also serves as a central location for a host of resources available on and off campus to better support and affirm our trans and non-binary community.
