Programs

The Northwestern University Office of Neighborhood and Community Relations (NCR) leads several programs and initiatives designed to advance our priorities of connecting people and communities to resources, opportunities, and partnerships. Through collaboration with community organizations, University partners, local stakeholders, and funders, these programs leverage the strengths and resources of Northwestern to help address community priorities and create meaningful, lasting impact.

ANCHOR Grants
The Advancing Neighborhood & Community Health, Opportunity & Resilience (ANCHOR) Grants Program supports community-driven partnerships between local organizations and Northwestern University partners. Through grant funding and collaboration, the program advances innovative efforts focused on community health, economic and social empowerment, and opportunities for children, youth, and families.

Sustainable Communities Grant Program
The Sustainable Communities Grant Program supports community-driven projects that advance sustainability and strengthen local communities. Through funding and partnership, the program helps local organizations develop and implement projects that address environmental priorities while creating tangible benefits for residents.
