Fall Newsletter Highlights
- Advancing Affordable Housing and Sustainability
Through the Good Neighbor Fund, Northwestern is partnering with the City of Evanston to fund affordable housing, climate resilience, and health initiatives. This year's projects include expanding renewable energy infrastructure, supporting housing programs, and strengthening social services to benefit residents across Evanston. - Supporting Central Street Businesses
Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management teamed up with the Central Street Business Association to connect students with local entrepreneurs. The collaboration provided tailored business strategies to help small shops grow in Evanston's economy, while giving students valuable real-world consulting experience. - Empowering Youth Through Work-Study
Northwestern students partnered with Cradle to Career to support literacy and workforce development. Through the federal work-study program, undergraduates helped local youth improve reading skills and connect with mentoring opportunities, demonstrating how university resources can uplift the next generation.
