My name is Jon Kimmel, and I am the Workforce Development Specialist for the Office of Neighborhood and Community Relations. I've been a Workforce Development Professional for more than 10 years with a focus on the Greater Chicagoland Area. My work includes collaborating with local community members, organizations, and employers to develop, deploy, and grow workforce development training and retention programs. By utilizing the programs, tools, and networks that already exist alongside new and innovative ideas and partnerships, we're able to create employment solutions for local employers and lifelong career pathways for residents of the City of Evanston.
