Where do I send my packages?
Please ship all your packages to the mailroom on the first floor. If you think your package will get there before you arrive to the building, please clearly mark it "hold for arrival"

What if I have computer problems?
For all computer related problems, please contact the NU information technology department at 847-491-4357 from any campus phone.

 

What if I'm locked out of my room?
If you are locked out of your room during the hours that the office is open then, please come down to the office and report it. If it is after the front desk is closed, please contact the Community Assistant on duty. Their phone numbers and contact information are listed in the lobby and on every floor.

 

I have a roommate problem, who should I contact?
We encourage that you try to resolve your issue with your roommate first, then if you want outside help, please contact the CA on duty.

 

My room is too hot or too cold, who should I contact?
If you need help with the temperature control in your room, please come down to the office and ask for help.  If it is after the desk is closed, please contact the Community Assistant on duty. Their phone numbers and CA on duty contact information are listed in the lobby and on every floor.

 

What if I have pest problems in the room or hall?
If you have pest problems, please come down to the office and report it. If it is after the desk is closed, please contact the Community Assistant on duty. Their phone numbers and contact information are listed in the lobby and on every floor.

 

What if I accidentally set off the fire alarm?
Inform a staff member immediately if you accidentally set off a fire alarm. Residents will also meet with a Residential Life professional staff member to discuss the incident.
