Elder Residential Community Leadership Program

The goal of the Elder Residential Community Leadership Program is to assist residents in developing their leadership skills and preparing them to hold leadership positions on campus.  The program will encourage residents to seek involvement in educational residence hall programs, assist participants in networking with faculty, staff and student leaders and lay the foundation for their leadership development at Northwestern University.  The program will encourage participants to begin building their resumes and provide opportunities to attend resume skills workshops.  All participants will be nominated to be a part of the Freshman Emerging Leaders Program (FELP) hosted by the Center for Student Involvement.

The program has specific requirements that need to be met in order to qualify for completion of the program. The requirements are:

  • Attend 3 ERC Educational Programs
  • Attend 1 University Career Services Programs
  • Participate in 2 community service events
  • Attend 2 Faculty in Residence Programs
  • Be a positive role model in the community
  • Abide by all housing rule and regulations
