Parent and Family Orientation
Parent and Family Orientation (PFO) events begin on Tuesday, September 15th and end on Wednesday, September 16th. PFO includes campus tours, a campus resource fair, receptions for parents with students living in residential colleges, academic school info-sessions, and various interest sessions related to campus life. Interest Sessions are on Wednesday, September 16 and held in the Norris University Center. Topics include:
- Counseling and Psychological Services
- Campus Safety
- Health Service and Student Insurance
- Parents as Partners at Northwestern
- Career Services
Meet Northwestern University's New President
On September 15th, Dr. Morton Schapiro, Northwestern University President, and Dr. Bill Banis, Vice President of Student Affairs, will be hosting a Parent and Family Welcome and Reception.

| 8:00am-5:00pm | New Student Move-In All new students living in the residence halls will be required to sign up for a move-in permit. When the students sign their housing contracts, they will be asked to sign up for a move-in time. |

Residential College Master's Reception For parents of students living in Residential Colleges. If you would like to attend this session and are also planning to help move your son or daughter into their residence, please ensure s/he does not sign up for the 12pm or 1pm move in times. |

Academic School Information Sessions Location: Norris University Center All six academic schools at Northwestern will offer information sessions for parents and family members to attend. These sessions will give parents and family members insight to their student's school, along with the opportunity to ask questions. |
