Social Events

A detailed schedule of social events for 2012 Wildcat Welcome will be released in a summer issue of the March to the Arch e-newsletter.

Below you'll find information on how to pre-order tickets (some events are ticketed, others are free) as well as descriptions of all events. A social event schedule will also be printed in you Wildcat Welcome personalized schedule book Schedule of Events that you'll receive at check-in. Many students like to get in touch with others in their Peer Advising group to start planning which events they'd like to attend. It's a great way to meet friends, and take the stress off the college transition!

How Do I Purchase Tickets?

Go to the Norris Box Office Web site and log in through the “Northwestern Community” side.  This will allow the system to qualify you as a new student.  Then select “Wildcat Welcome Week” and you will see a list of tickets available.  Some need to be purchased, others just need to be reserved and have no cost associated (due to limited seating).  Please purchase/reserve all the events you are interested in so you are sure to have a space!  All tickets are free unless otherwise noted  below their description. You may also  purchase/reserve them in-person once you arrive on campus at the Norris Center, but tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I Have My Tickets Shipped to Me?

The short answer is no.  Rather than shipping them home and risk losing your tickets or forgetting to bring them to campus, any tickets ordered will be on hold for you to pick up via will call at the Norris Box Office.  If you haven’t picked up your ticket by the time the event occurs, your ticket will be available for you at the door of the event (i.e. if you have a ticket for A Cappella Fest and forgot to get it during the day, the ticket will be waiting at the door for you that night)!

Please see the Norris University Center Box Office Web site for hours, payment methods accepted, and policies.

All Wildcat Welcome Social Events are sober events. Students found to have been drinking will be unable to attend the event and may face judicial sanctions.
