Physics placement exams are offered during Wildcat Welcome (time: TBA). No appointments are necessary; students should arrive on time and bring a calculator.
Exams in physics for placement out of courses in the algebra-based PHYSICS 130-1,2,3 sequence and the calculus-based PHYSICS 135-1,2,3 sequence will be offered at the time listed above. If you're unsure whether it's worthwhile for you to take the Physics placement or think you might be ready for more advanced classes, please contact the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Physics at dusphysics@northwestern.edu.
