The Portuguese Placement test is offered during Wildcat Welcome from 2 - 4 p.m. on September 14, 2011 in Kresge hall 1-145.
If you have previous knowledge of Portuguese and would like to continue your studies, you must take the written and oral placement exam offered by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. The exam is based on the material covered in the Intensive Elementary Portuguese, PORT 111 and 112, 1, 2, 3. The completion of the spring quarter with a grade of C- or better satisfies the WCAS Foreign Language Proficiency requirement. For placement at the 200-level courses, a composition is also required.
