The Chinese Placement Testis available continuously between now and Friday, September 9, 2011. The Chinese placement exam will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in room L211 of the Technological Institute. All those who took the On-Line Placement Test need to take the exam on campus to verify writing skills.
If you've already learned some Chinese, taking the placement exam will allow you to continue your studies at the appropriate course level (elementary, intermediate, or advanced) or to show that your proficiency in the language satisfies the Weinberg foreign language requirement.
You may use the traditional character or the simplified character format on the exam as you wish. In writing you may use either form or a combination of both.
