Arriving On Campus
During Wildcat Welcome, all international students must report to the International Office at 630 Dartmouth Place (just north of the tennis courts, near Noyes Street) for immigration purposes.
Please bring your passport, I-94, and visa document (I-20 or DS-2019) during walk-in hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30–11:30 AM and 1:00–4:30 PM.
International Student Orientation (ISO): September 12-14, 2014
Northwestern University is proud to welcome students from around the globe. We understand that leaving home to study in another country is a challenge, so we would like to make your transition to campus as easy as possible.
Registering for ISO
International students can register for International Student Orientation (ISO), a fun and informative pre-Wildcat Welcome designed to help the international members of the class of 2018 become acquainted with life at Northwestern University. New students, transfer students, and exchange students are invited to attend this orientation program geared specifically to international students. Register for ISO at the International Office's Web site. Because you will be arriving early to campus, you will move-in to your residence hall room before other new students move in. You will not need to worry about finding alternate housing between International Student Orientation and Wildcat Welcome if you plan to live on-campus for the Fall term.
International students will also participate in the same Wildcat Welcome programs as the rest of the incoming students, which will include special programs tailored just for your needs.
Orientation materials will be sent to incoming students with their immigration documents after admission. For more information, please visit www.northwestern.edu/international.
