University Career Services (UCS)
Jose Santos is an Assistant Director in University Career Services. Feel free to discuss your career goals, questions or concerns at one of his outreach sessions. Come Visit Jose in African American Student Affairs on Wednesdays, 3:00pm–5:00pm.
Study Abroad Office
The Northwestern University Study Abroad Office works with students and provides options about study abroad programs. The goal is to help students identify programs that best meet their academic and professional goals. A Study Abroad Adviser is available Tuesdays, 3:00pm-5:00pm.
Center for Awareness Response and Education (C.A.R.E.)
CARE provides students with information and education about sexual violence, consent and information about healthy relationships, and healthy sexualty. Eva Ball, Coordinator of Sexual Violence Response Services and Advocacy, is available Wednesdays, 3:30–5:00pm.
The Office of the University Chaplains promotes spiritual growth to the Northwestern undergraduate students. Feel free to stop by and visit with Rev. A. Annette Hankins, MDIV, Mondays, 11:00 – 1:00pm.
Off –Campus Life
Anthony “Tony” Kirchmeier is the Director of Off-Campus Life. Tony’s job is to be a liaison between Northwestern University, and students interested in both living and being a part of the Evanston community. Visit Tony for more information about off-campus resources that are readily available. Tony’s outreach hours are every 2nd Thursday of the month, 2:00–4:00pm.
John Dunkle is available to speak with students about counseling and other mental health issues. Visit John to chat about stress management, and also to offer feedback and suggestions on how CAPS can be of assistance to the undergraduate community. John is available May 2nd, 10th, 16th, 24th and 30th from 3:00–5:00pm.
Vanessa Whitsett works with Intervarsity/Religious Life. Intervarsity/Religious Life is concerned with helping students acclimate to classes, their Northwestern experience, finding a Christian community, and charting a course for their life using a spiritual foundation. Visit Vanessa Thursdays, from 3:00 – 5:00pm. Vanessa’s hours alternate with another outreach member, feel free to call African American Student Affairs at 847-491-3610 to find out which dates she is available.
