Advising
One of our primary services is providing students with advice on a variety of issues regarding their cultural, social, professional, and academic development.
MSA Programs for Academic Assistance
Advocacy
We advocate on behalf of students to propose, promote, and support initiatives that benefit the campus community, particularly regarding issues of diversity, inclusion, and pluralism.
Outreach
In conjunction with Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation & Parent Programs, MSA engages in outreach endeavors to prospective students and new students by raising their awareness about who we are and what we offer.
Community Building
MSA contributes to the building of a cohesive, inclusive, and expansive multicultural community on campus through various opportunities for our students to get involved, try different things, meet new people, and work toward common goals.
Collaborations
MSA partners with various University departments and offices, especially those within the Division of Student Affairs, to develop programs, resources, and opportunities that may contribute to the development of our students.
Networks
MSA has relationships within a collective network of professionals and organizations that offer support and opportunities for our students. Such relationships are with alumni, regional and national community-based organizations, and colleagues at other colleges and universities.
