Academic Achievement Initiative

Through collaborative efforts with academic departments and advising staff, Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) assists students with achieving success in the classroom. Program plans and progress reports assist students in meeting and achieving their academic goals.

Tutoring Program

MSA offers free tutoring throughout the year. Subjects include biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, economics, statistics, and calculus.

MSA Tutoring Information & Schedule

Writing Night

Throughout the year, MSA hosts several writing workshops with tutors from the Writing Place to help students develop general writing skills as well as work on specific class assignments.

Information Sessions

In conjunction with the Study Abroad Office, Office of Fellowships, and Chicago Field Studies, MSA hosts several information sessions throughout the year that highlight study abroad, fellowship, and internship opportunities open to all students.
