Academic Achievement Initiative

Through collaborative efforts with academic departments and advising staff, Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) assists students with achieving success in the classroom. Program plans and progress reports assist students in meeting and achieving their academic goals.

Tutoring Program

MSA hosts a tutoring program that focuses primarily on these subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Calculus and Economics. For more information or to participate in the tutoring program please contact E.J. Basa.

Writing Night

Throughout the year, MSA hosts several writing workshops with tutors from the Writing Place to help students develop general writing skills as well as work on specific class assignments.

Information Sessions

In conjunction with the Study Abroad Office, Office of Fellowships, Chicago Field Studies, and other departments, MSA hosts several information sessions throughout the year that highlight study abroad, fellowship, internship, and various other opportunities open to all students.
