Mud and Bubbles

Students enjoy summer pleasures at Dillo Day 2008. The crowd enjoyed a warm, sunny Saturday along Lake Michigan, though a recent resodding project left a layer of mud on the field. Some concertgoers waged zealous mud fights as the headliner, '90s rock band Third Eye Blind, took the stage in the afternoon. Chicago-born hip-hop artist Common closed out the evening festivities with a performance including a freestyle rap about life on the Evanston campus.
