Compensation

The Office of Human Resources Compensation Division provides competitive compensation programs designed to attract, retain and motivate talented staff necessary to support the university mission.

Our guiding principles:

  • Partner with schools and departments to solve difficult business problems by being flexible and adaptable to meet their specific needs while maintaining consistency across the entire University
  • Provide tools and resources to enable key staff members to manage and administer their employee’s compensation initiatives in an equitable and fiscally responsible manner
  • Provide guidance and counsel when unique situations occur with consideration of an individual’s knowledge, skill and abilities
  • Provide continuous training, education and communication regarding University compensation programs
  • Ensure legal compliance governing fair pay, equal opportunities, job documentation and all other compensation related programs which fall under federal and state agencies
