Changes to Retirement Election Choices

June 29, 2016 | Northwestern is making some changes to the investment options of the Northwestern University Retirement Plans that will take effect on July 27, 2016. Changes are being made to the fund options of the Northwestern 403(b) and 457(b) plans. No changes are being made to the University contribution percentages or withdrawal provisions of the plans. Equifax Credit Monitoring Service

May 13, 2016 | Northwestern faculty and staff who were issued a Form W-2 for 2015 are being offered ID Patrol services for credit monitoring and ID theft protection at no cost. Communications regarding this benefit are being sent to Northwestern email addresses as well as home addresses of those eligible for this coverage. Northwestern Negotiates Revenue Credit for Retirement Plan Enrollees

April 04, 2016 | Northwestern has negotiated a credit of fees, called a "revenue credit," from both Fidelity and TIAA. Employees who had a balance in either a Fidelity or TIAA account as of March 31, 2016, will receive a prorated share of the revenue credits deposited to their Northwestern retirement account(s) in the second quarter of 2016.
