Engelhart Community Assistants

Engelhart's Community Assistants (CAs) work with an incredibly diverse group of residents that have come from all over the world to study a variety of disciplines at Northwestern University. Many of the residents in Engelhart are the partners, spouses or children of students.

The role of the CA is to serve students by:

  • Presenting educational and social programming
  • Serving as a campus resource by responding to inquiries
  • Ensuring that good customer service is extended during the evenings and on weekends
  • Promoting safety and responsibility by monitoring the facilities
  • Assisting students during emergencies or crises

Interested in becoming a CA? Visit the Living@NU website. Duty schedules and contact information (including pager numbers) for the community assistants and student directors are posted at the front desk of Engelhart Hall.
