Consider the Engelhart Advantage

All utilities included
This means no additional bills for electric, gas, heat, or water. Almost all off-campus apartments include water in the rent, and approximately half include heat. This leaves the tenant paying for electric and gas, generally the two most expensive utilities, which could easily add $100 or more to monthly living expenses. In those off-campus units where heat is not included, in the winter months (which in Chicago can mean November through April) $200 or more could easily be added, above and beyond the rent alone, to monthly living expenses.

Cable television and Internet included
All apartments are on the University’s IT network, complete with incredibly fast internet service. Expenses for such services in an off-campus apartment can range from around $40 per month to $200 per month.

Modern laundry facilities
Ample washing and drying capacity to keep your clothes clean and your family looking their best. Many off-campus buildings in the area have only one or two machines stuffed into a gloomy basement area.

Helpful front desk staff included
Engelhart has front desk staff members who sort the mail, collect and distribute packages, issue keys, and assist residents with problems such as lockouts. If an Engelhart resident locks themselves out of their apartment, they can be let in right away, whereas in an off-campus situation, they might wait several hours for a locksmith, then pay an expensive fee for the service.

On-site maintenance staff included
On-site staff are available to fix minor problems within a couple of hours. This saves residents time, money, and the hassle of small day-to-day issues. Two or three flat apartments simply do not offer this level of service.

Heated Parking
Engelhart has its own secure, underground parking garage available only to residents.
