Whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report,
if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise,
think on these things.

- Philippians 4:8 -
University Motto, adopted Jun 17, 1890

Northwestern is privileged to enjoy a rich variety of religious fellowships, which support and challenge the intellectual pursuits of the University.

This web page will introduce you to some of the organizations and programs at Northwestern that provide occasions for religious reflection and opportunities for worship, service, and action. Through the various religious traditions represented on campus, students may seek moral and spiritual insights into the meaning and value of human life and experience.

I invite you to explore the rich and varied options available to Northwestern students. My office is open to all inquiries from students, their parents, and campus visitors. Campus religious leaders and advisers are always ready to help students broaden their faith. It is our hope that together we can build a community of conscience and spiritual awareness and support the University's search for and celebration of "whatsoever things are true."
