The Women's Center is committed to educating the community on issues that affect women.  Our work covers a variety of topics and issues.  Read about some of these issues below.

Our History

The Northwestern Women's Center has existed in its current form since 1986. Before that, it grew out of the work of the Program on Women, an academic and social support group for academic women through the '70s. To learn more about the Center's roots and its accomplishments over the last 30 years, explore our interactive timeline below.

The Women's Center has had many voices over our 30+ years.  This short documentary,  Voices of the Women's Center, shines a light on our accomplishments and our future.

Our Library

The Women's Center has a small lending library of books related to gender, feminism and social justice.  Stop by and find something to read today.   20180807_132319.jpg
