New Versions of W-8 Forms

Effective 3/2/2022 Supplier Registration Requests - Newest Versions of W-8 Forms Are Required
New versions of the W-8 forms are now available for use. The W-8BEN-E (required when processing a new supplier registration request for a foreign company) and the W-8BEN (required for foreign individuals) have a revision date of October 2021. These forms are available from the IRS website as well as on the Vendor File Management (VFM) web pages and through the NUPortal. Our web pages and the NUPortal always point to the IRS website so you are assured of getting the most recent version of IRS forms.
Effective 3/2/2022 the newest versions of the W-8 forms will be required. Supplier registration requests without the requisite version of the W-8 forms will not be processed and will be returned to the submitter pending the most recent version of the W-8 form.
