Lauren helps to develop and coordinate initiatives that advance the awareness, adoption, and creation of OER on campus. In addition to working with faculty and instructors to find and create suitable OER for their courses, she has a special interest in open pedagogy, and can assist instructors to develop lesson plans and curriculum that utilize the power of open licenses. Lauren also supports the research and teaching needs of the Communication Studies department as their library liaison.
As the Digital Publishing Librarian at Northwestern Libraries, Chris develops creative solutions to help faculty and students publish their original scholarly works online, such as research data, dissertations, websites, conference proceedings, journals, and course materials. He is also the liaison to the Philosophy department, serving as the primary contact for research consultations, library instruction, and collection development.
Liz is a Copyright Librarian who splits her time between Northwestern Libraries and Northwestern University Press. In her role, she supports OER creation and use by responding to copyright questions, providing resources and information on copyright law, and offering copyright education to the Northwestern community.
