Diana Deng
Hello! My name is Diana Deng. I am a rising junior majoring in comparative literary studies. I am from Beijing, China. During my spare time, I enjoy walking around the old alleys behind my neighborhood and writing about the people living there. I like books because they document the individuality of life and history.
James Lee
Hello! I'm James, a second year majoring in Radio/Television/Film. On campus, I'm involved with organizations like Studio 22 and Vertigo Productions, and off-campus, I'm an affiliate member of the Chicago Indie Critics and a voting member of the Dorian Awards. You'll often find me writing and workshopping scripts, reviewing movies, and being on film sets over the weekends. I'm incredibly excited to help contribute to this year's One Book and the valuable perspectives it illuminates about the Asian American diaspora!
Megan Lin

I am involved with Undergraduate Prison Education Program, Willard Exec, and Grounding for Public Service. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, watercolor painting, writing, and watching food videos. I am excited to hear people’s thoughts related to "Crying in H Mart" while facilitating discussions and events around the memoir.
