LawOn March 15 in cities across the country — Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Washington, D.C. — School of Law alumni dined with members of the class of 2006. In April the Student Funded Public Interest Program hosted the first Public Service Benefit Dinner honoring School of Law alumni who have served the public. Dawn Clark Netsch (WCAS48, L52), professor emerita of law, William Wilen (L73) and Graham Grady (L83) received special recognition. Proceeds from the dinner supported Len Rubinowitz Grants for law students working summer jobs in public interest law. Rubinowitz is professor of law at Northwestern. Young alumni and summer associates will have the opportunity to network at parties in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York in July. Chicago-area alumni will also gather for an evening of food and music at an "End of Summer" networking party Sept. 16 at Bob Chinn's Restaurant in Chicago.
