Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility Membership
Dear members of the Northwestern community,
I am pleased to share that after more than two months of gathering and reviewing applications, Northwestern is prepared to re-establish the Advisory Committee on Investment Responsibility (ACIR) next month. Created in 2016, ACIR serves as both a forum for members of the University community to raise issues related to investment responsibility and a conduit to engagement with the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees.
The University solicited recommendations and applications from the community, and I am grateful to say there was tremendous response, with a large number of faculty, staff, students and alumni applying to join this committee. After a robust process that included interviews and discussions, we have selected a nine-person committee that reflects our Northwestern community.
The Committee consists of:
- Stephen Brodsky, Global Chief Financial Officer for Britannica Group, Pritzker ’96, Kellogg ‘97
- Kristine Casman, Senior Director of Business Operations, University Libraries
- Lucas Catilina-Rebucci, Weinberg ’26
- Keech Combe Shetty, Executive Chair of Combe Inc., Weinberg ’99, Kellogg ’06
- Amy Falls (ex-officio), Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
- Carrie Garrison, Manager of Financial Analysis, Weinberg
- Therese McGuire, ConAgra Brands Research Professor of Strategic Management, Kellogg
- Caleb Snead, Weinberg ’26, co-President of the Associated Student Government
I would like to thank each member of ACIR for taking on this challenging, fascinating and important charge. The Committee will hold its first public meeting on Feb. 19. Information about upcoming meetings and how to register can be found on the ACIR website.
This committee will model enlightened dialogue, and advance the values and mission of Northwestern, and I am grateful for their service.
