About the Group
Formed in 2020, the Lab Managers Group uses regular meetings to build community, gather information, and facilitate communication and coordination of the university’s lab management activities. We have connected with staff members across both campuses, the hospital and Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute of Lurie Children's Hospital
Our Goal
The Lab Managers Group seeks to:
- Have an ongoing dialogue among lab managers for resources and support.
- Form a network of like-minded personnel.
- Discuss issues in a safe and confidential space such as new ideas, problem solving strategies, and learning opportunities.
Attend a Meeting
Each meeting will focus on a different topic, serving as an opportunity for staff to meet, network, and to collect ideas for additional programming. The overall purpose of these meetings is to build community, gather information, and facilitate communication and coordination of the university’s lab management activities.
