Thalia L. Myrianthopoulos

2022-thalia_myrianthopoulos_0003.jpgThalia L. Myrianthopoulos joined Northwestern University’s Office of General Counsel in 2016, and currently serves as Senior Associate General Counsel. Thalia’s principal areas of responsibility are litigation, investigations, employee benefits, and research and regulatory matters.  She also advises clients on a wide range of business, compliance, and policy-related issues, including matters related to sponsored research and research integrity.   

Prior to joining Northwestern, Thalia was a partner in the Chicago office of Jenner & Block LLP in its complex commercial litigation practice group, concentrating in product liability and class action defense. Before entering private practice, she served as a staff attorney to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Thalia received her B.A. in English from Haverford College, and her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she served as Executive Articles Editor of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. Thalia is licensed to practice law in Illinois and is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
