Richard N. Cummo

2022-richard_commo_0007.jpgRichard N. Cummo joined Northwestern University Office of General Counsel in May of 2021. Prior to joining Northwestern, Rich was a Contract Negotiator for the tech company CDW where he was primarily focused on Healthcare and Higher Education clients and matters. Prior to that, Rich was a Senior Analyst at the legal services company Axiom concentrating on transactional contract matters and compliance issues. Rich also previously spent several years as a Mediator, negotiating disputes within the Cook County Court system. Before his legal career, Rich spent several years in the field of education, both in the classroom, and at Lincoln Park Zoo where he designed educational programs and exhibit components.

Rich received his Bachelors Degree from Providence College, where he majored in Public Policy. He received his Masters of Science in Education from Northwestern University, and his Law Degree from DePaul University. A native of New Jersey, Rich still longs for the ocean and pizza cut into slices, but he is very happy living here with his wife and two children.
