Caroline L. Camic

2022-caroline_camic_0018.jpgCaroline L. Camic joined Northwestern’s Office of General Counsel in 2022 as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining Northwestern, Caroline served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Human Resources Law at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she focused on employment litigation, regulatory compliance, and general employment counseling. Before joining JPMorgan, Caroline held employment counsel positions at Target Corporation in Minneapolis and, subsequently, HERE Technologies in Chicago. She began her legal career as an Associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. 

Caroline received her B.A. magna cum laude with distinction in the majors of Economics and History from Yale University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Caroline’s principal areas of responsibility in the Office of General Counsel are employment counseling, compliance, and litigation. She is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).
