GLO Scholarships
The Global Learning Office is committed to increasing access to study abroad for all students and offer additional funding so that financial considerations do not restrict opportunities for international study.
Grants require a separate application, submitted after students are confirmed to participate in. Review grant information on the GLObal Correspondent page.
There are also many opportunities to apply for outside scholarships and funding to help offset the cost of your study abroad program. However, deadlines come quickly. Plan ahead and check scholarship deadlines early in the application process.
Scholarship Application
You can apply for all GLO scholarships using just one online application which is linked to your Northwestern study abroad application. Scholarship applications are due at the same time as your program application deadline.
To begin the GLO scholarship application, you must first begin the Northwestern study abroad application. Within the Northwestern study abroad application, be sure to complete the program selection section and 1) indicate a Northwestern Summer Program or Northwestern Exchange as your first choice program and 2) be sure to answer yes to the question “Will you be applying for a scholarship?” within the scholarship selection section (at the bottom of the page).
Scholarship Eligibility
