To honor Victor G. Rosenblum, professor emeritus of law, for his distinguished career and nearly 50 years of service to Northwestern, the School of Law Class of 2004 commissioned a portrait of Rosenblum as its graduating gift to the school. The portrait was unveiled at a ceremony at the Law School Atrium in March.
In April alumni enjoyed this year's Wigmore Follies, the Law School's annual student-run satirical comedy show. Northwest Side Story parodied the musical West Side Story and told the tale of two warring law-student gangs.
On June 18 members of the Law School Class of 1955 celebrate their golden reunion at a reception and dinner at the Law School campus in downtown Chicago.
This year's School of Law Reunion Weekend is set for Oct. 27-29 and includes the traditional "Bar Review" at Cru Wine Bar on Chicago's Gold Coast, the Bluhm Legal Clinic Reunion Brunch and class dinners at Lowden Hall, and cocktails and dancing in the Law School courtyard.
