In accordance with University Bylaws, all Northwestern
University contracts (including purchase orders for the
purchase or leasing of supplies, materials or equipment)
must be executed by the President or, by delegation, the
Provost or a Vice President of the University. With the
President's prior written approval, the Provost and Vice
Presidents may delegate authority to execute general
contracts within certain, defined categories to persons
under their supervision.
