2013

On March 27, 2013 the Northwestern Best Practices Forum brought together 210 staff, faculty, and administrators to share information on utilizing technology and other measures to improve processes and increase collaboration and communication throughout the University. The 6th annual Forum, the largest forum to date, was successful in serving as a platform for the exchanging of ideas and a showcase for best practices being implemented throughout the University.

This year's forum featured lunchtime speaker Paul Leonardi, Pentair-Nugent Associate Professor in the Departments of Communication Studies and Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences, who presented “Not What We Planned! First and Second Effects of Technology Use in Organizations.” The event brought together representatives from schools across the University and continues a tradition of excellence and progress for Northwestern.
