To designate where AMCAS should send the letters:
- In AMCAS Section 7 – Medical Schools, enter the medical schools to which you are applying
- If it’s one of the 21 schools in the letters pilot, you will be asked to designate which letters you want to send to the school
- The NU recommendation file letter packet counts as one letter (titled by the applicant as Prehealth Northwestern University ) and the letters in that packet cannot be separated into individual letters and targeted to specific medical school.
- Any additional letters (classified as “Individual Letters”) that you choose to send through AMCAS, however, can be targeted to specific medical schools.
