Resources to Talk to Someone

  • A counseling consultant: Let’s Talk provides drop-in consultations at locations around campus for Northwestern students.  It’s free, no appointment is necessary, and students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.  Just walk in for an informal, friendly, and confidential consultation.  Speaking with a counselor consultant can help provide insight, solutions, and informational about other resources. No topic is off limits (including the re-adjustment process)!
  • A confidential peer: Wildchat is a phone peer listening service for Northwestern students.  The mission of Wildchat is to provide all Northwestern students, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, or gender representation, with a free, confidential peer listening service.
  • A study abroad ambassador or ULA staff member: ULA Ambassadors and Staff can be good resources for re-entry questions and challenges
