In this exchange program, students enroll directly at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris, or Sciences Po, one of the highest ranked institutions in the world for politics and international studies. Students take classes with local and other international students and have the option of studying at Sciences Po's Paris campus or Reims campus.

The program is targeted to students in the social sciences and humanities, with course offerings in economics, international relations, legal studies, history, political science, and humanities. The Reims campus also offers courses in journalism and media.

Courses are available in French and English, but students studying at the Paris campus are expected to take at least two of their courses in French. Students studying at the Reims campus are expected to take at least one course in French.

Language requirements depend on if you plan to take courses at the Sciences Po-Paris or Sciences Po-Reims campus:

  • SciPo-Reims: 1 year of college-level French required
  • SciPo-Paris: 2 years of college-level French required


  • Students are responsible for making their own housing arrangements, since Sciences Po does not offer university housing. Options include apartments, homestays, and student reseidences
