Northwestern's central Compliance Office helps the University to promote a culture of honest and ethical behavior as well as to identify and manage risk. The Office’s responsibilities include coordinating, encouraging and monitoring the operational compliance activities that occur throughout the University, supporting policy development and review, and advising senior administration and the Board of Trustees on the effectiveness of the University’s compliance efforts. The Compliance Office works with operational compliance owners across the University to strategically build and improve their compliance programs and ensure they are responsive to evolving regulatory environments.
Northwestern is committed to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. If you have a question, concern, or have reason to believe wrongful activity has occurred, please report it: to your supervisor, to specialized compliance units on campus, or through the University’s EthicsPoint hotline, which is managed by our office.
If you are unsure where to go, please contact us. We're happy to help.
