Kristina Bell

Kristina Bell is a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Anthropology from Pearland, Texas. With minors in American History and Environmental Policy and Culture, Kristina hopes to take a multidisciplinary approach to understanding past and present people’s relationship with the environment through Archaeology and Environmental Anthropology. Her previous research examined Black people’s recreational land use and their low presence in National Parks. Currently, she is interested in the politics behind creating and maintaining iconic American landscapes. Outside of academics, Kristina enjoys dancing and other forms of art like painting and jewelry making. Currently she is an executive member Northwestern’s art club, Art Union.
