Danté is an alumnus of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences, where they double-majored in Asian American and African American Studies. Their research interests include Latinx Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and other fields involved in understanding the experiences of oppressed groups in the world. Danté gained perspectives on how to apply these interests in a 2016 summer internship with the Advancement Project California, in which they conducted research on effective practices in low-income areas of Los Angeles as well as an inclusive language workshop for the members of the nonprofit's Educational Equity branch. In 2019, they were selected to participate in the Mellon Mays Undergraduate January Program in Cape Town, South Africa. After graduation, they hope to continue conducting research regarding social identities and developing his ideas for a more equal society.
