Alberto Takase '16
Alberto graduated from the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. He chose to conduct his senior thesis on Set Theory due to its emphasis on mathematical logic and the axiomatic method. He hopes to address the under-representation of minorities in the mathematical community by eventually working as a professor and mentoring students also interested in joining the ranks of institutional faculty. Alberto is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine.
