Aozora Brockman '15

Aozora Brockman graduated in 2015 with a degree in Creative Writing and Asian American Studies. During her senior year, she completed a research project on Asian American nationalisms in Japan and their influence on Korean-Japanese bi-ethnic identities. In 2015, she wrote a manuscript of poems entitled, "Memory of a Girl," for her Honors Project in Creative Writing. The manuscript was published as a poetry chapter book by Backbone Press in the summer of 2016. Aozora is currently writing a memoir with her father, and is passionate about learning how to live as self-sufficiently (and harmlessly) as possible. She currently works full-time on her family's organic vegetable farm.
