Northwestern responds to NIH grants proposal

On Friday, Northwestern submitted a response to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on the NIH proposal to cap the number of simultaneous grants that can be held by a principal investigator. Among other points, the University’s response emphasizes differences between disciplines and fields, highlighting those where multidisciplinary work across multiple grants is needed to solve complex health problems.

First AI-driven telescope goes stargazing
