Wildcats win SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl

Northwestern football capped a thrilling season with a 14-7 win over Utah in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl tonight.

Led by quarterback Ben Bryant, the ’Cats scored late in the fourth quarter to break a 7-7 tie before holding off one last Utah drive.

“In ways that most of us would not have predicted during a challenging summer, our exceptional student-athletes, coaches and fans have made this football season one to remember,” said President Michael Schill. “Today, we are especially proud of the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl victory, a fitting end to a season in which Head Coach David Braun and his team demonstrated the value of unity, perseverance and toughness. We look forward to a bright future for Northwestern’s football program.”
