Bridge collapse resets US supply chains

The collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge near Baltimore disrupted shipping at the Port of Baltimore, prompting businesses to reroute shipments. McCormick’s Joseph Schofer tells The Wall Street Journal that trucks will now have to travel a longer route to the north, putting additional communities at risk of exposure to hazardous materials.

To combat a measles outbreak, city officials in Chicago are expediting vaccinations for migrants at a crowded Lower West Side shelter. Feinberg’s Dr. Aarati Didwania tells the Chicago Tribune it is vital to communicate clearly with the migrants about their situation and carefully monitor all exposed patients.
