Feinberg’s Dr. Phyllis Zee tells The Washington Post that light at night sends a danger signal to the brain, triggering the “fight-or-flight” system, which could make it harder to go into deep sleep.

Lawsuit in Chicago is the latest legal fight over Texas moving migrants to U.S. cities

A Texas-based transportation company is bringing the city of Chicago to federal court amid an escalating legal dispute related to the migrant crisis. The company accuses the city of illegally regulating immigration and interstate commerce, but Northwestern Law’s Nadav Shoked tells the Associated Press it will be difficult to prove that the city is imposing an excessive burden on out-of-state operators.

Trump's defamation hurt my status, writer E. Jean Carroll testifies

Donald Trump’s lawyers have taken a new tack in the defamation trial brought by E. Jean Carroll — a writer who, in 2019, accused the former president of rape. While Trump’s lawyers suggest that Carroll may have benefited from the increased fame, Medill’s Ashlee Humphreys testified that the harm to Carroll’s reputation was substantial, highlighting the significant damage caused by questioning her credibility in her professional role.
