  • Weinberg's Thomas McDade finds that two months after the second Pfizer or Moderna vaccination, antibody response decreases 20% in adults with prior cases of COVID-19. The study also tests how well current vaccines resist emerging variants. McDade’s research was cited in 97 stories for a reach of 6.5 million. Top outlets include Business Insider, U.S. News and UPI.

  • Feinberg's Tina Tan discusses the safety of hosting major events, such as concerts, outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Tan was cited in 37 stories for a reach of 4.2 million. Top outlets include CNN, Quartz and Salon.

  • Northwestern Law's Laura Nirider discusses the growing interest in revisiting harsh prison sentences for crimes committed by juveniles. Nirider was cited in 54 stories – primarily NPR radio broadcasts – for a reach of 3.8 million.

This weekly newsletter combines previous communications distributed by the Office of Global Marketing and Communications, including the news summary and the morning briefing.
